Educational Qualification
The candidates willing to apply for the post must have cleared the Madhyamik Examination from the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education or its equivalent as on 01 January 2023 from a recognized university/ institute.
Age Limit
- The minimum age required for this post is 18 years, and
- The maximum age of the candidate must not exceed 27 years as on January 1, 2023.
- Also, age relaxation in the upper age limit is provided to candidates of the reserved categories.
West Bengal Lady Constable Recruitment Selection Process
The candidates will be finally selected after qualifying in all four stages of the recruitment.
Stage 1: Prelims of 100 marks
Stage 2: PMT (Physical Measurement Test) and PET (Physical Efficiency Test)
Stage 3: Final Written Exam of 85 marks
Stage 4:Interview (15 marks)
The prelims written exam will be of one hour and will consist of MCQs on general awareness and general knowledge, elementary mathematics, reasoning, and analytical abilities.
Candidates qualifying for the written exam will be further shortlisted for PMT and PET.
Next, the written exam will also be for one hour and will be on the following subjects: general awareness and general knowledge, English, elementary mathematics, reasoning, and analytical abilities.
After shortlisting the candidates on the basis of their performance in the main written exam, interviews will be conducted by the respective districts to select the final candidates.
